This formulation is the ideal complement to Pre-Workout Formula, launched in April 2012. Post-Workout Formula protects the muscles from the catabolism caused by training and reduces recovery time, allowing more frequent and intense workouts.

• Sustamine™, an exclusive, patented dipeptide combining L-glutamine and L-alanine, shown to be considerably more effective than glutamine alone for rehydration and recovery. Sustamine™ enhances water absorption in the intestines, stimulates glycogen synthesis, benefiting muscle protein, and protects the integrity of the gastrointestinal tract contributing to better nutrient absorption.
• branched-chain amino acids leucine, isoleucine and valine, which protect and boost proteins. Constituting 35% of muscle volume, branched-chain amino acids accelerate regeneration of muscle tissue and significantly improve recovery.
• Astragin™, which combines specific, proprietary extracts of Panax notoginseng and the alcohol fraction of Astragalus membranaceus. In vitro and in vivo studies have shown that it enhances amino acid, glucose and vitamin absorption. In particular, the in vivo study highlighted significantly improved glycogen stores in the 24 hour period following exercise. Astragin™ works mainly by protecting proteins and mitochondrial ribonucleic acid. .
• Suma, Brazilian ginseng or Pfaffia paniculata: an Amazon rainforest plant with stimulant and adaptogenic properties. It is a general tonic which improves recovery and eases inflammation. It is particularly recommended for exercise that puts strain on the joints.
• minerals lost through perspiration during exercise : potassium, sodium, calcium, magnesium and zinc, mainly in their citrate form, which mostly provide electrolyte support and combat lactic acid.
• ascorbyl palmitate, a fat-soluble form of vitamin C which is a natural, regenerative and easily-assimilated compound that the body conserves longer than water-soluble forms.
• Powergrape®®, a standardised grape extract with exceptional polyphenol (90%) and OPC (50%) content that combats oxidative stress and muscle damage following exercise. A number of studies on athletes have confirmed its efficacy and tolerance.
