Rg3 differs from other ginseng-based supplements by virtue of its high concentration in Rg3, the most effective ginsenoside for restoring vitality. This is only present in ginseng at trace amounts. Two Chinese researchers – and ginseng specialists - have developed a purification process allowing ginsenoside to be commercially produced from ginseng. Rg3 contains 10% Rg3 ginsenoside, the highest proportion available.
