D-limonene is an orange peel extract standardised to provide 96% d-limonene, a compound found naturally in the rind of citrus fruits. Studies show that d-limonene helps relieve occasional heartburn and acid reflux. Studies also suggest that d-limonene supports immune system function. In animal models, it induces activity of phase I and II liver enzymes, helping the body eliminate toxins.
