Nutra-6™ is a multi-nutrient formulation based on the latest scientific advances, designed to provide the body with essential supplements vital for optimal health, especially the complete spectrum of carotenoids and tocopherols. Research shows that in order to prevent oxidative stress and, in particular, cardiovascular disease, d-alpha tocopherol should be accompanied by gamma-tocopherol, other tocopherols and tocotrienols. The same is true of beta-carotene which acts synergistically with alpha-carotene, lycopene, lutein, zeaxanthin and astaxanthin. In this formulation, the amount of preformed vitamin A has been reduced, in line with the latest recommendations, to improve absorption of vitamin D, levels of which have been slightly increased - Taking multivitamins 3 times a day is the cornerstone of any nutritional supplement programme.
