¤ Lowat™ is a proprietary blend of extracts of betel leaf and Dolichos biflorus seed (horse gram), two plants which have been traditionally used in India for centuries. It inhibits differentiation of pre-adipocytes, slowing the formation of adipocytes and limiting the accumulation of fat droplets in mature adipocytes. ¤ Fucoxanthin, an extract of the brown seaweed Undaria pinnatifida, has been shown to help weight loss by stimulating production of a protein responsible for fat oxidation and breakdown. It also appears to increase metabolic rate.

¤ Propolmannan is a highly purified, patented, natural dietary fibre. It is derived from Amorphophallus konjac, a rare tuberous plant found exclusively in the mountains of northern Japan. Propolmannan :

- makes you feel fuller faster by absorbing water and quickly expanding in the stomach;
- transports dietary fats safely out of the body by preventing their breakdown and assimilation through “absorption” of bile acids in the small intestine;
- reduces the after-meal glucose spike that would normally occur by slowing the rapid emptying of food from the stomach into the small intestine. It forms a stable, viscous barrier that decelerates the normal digestive process of which fat storage is an inherent mechanism.

¤ Guggulsterones, extracted from Commiphora mukul, promote weight loss through a number of mechanisms :

- by activating lipolytic enzymes ;
- by stimulating the thyroid, thus increasing the metabolic rate ;
- by regulating the size and number of adipocytes or fat cells

¤ L-carnitine fumarate is involved in the metabolism of energy; supplementation with l-carnitine fumarate increases oxidation of fats.

¤ Green coffee extract, rich in chlorogenic acid, stabilises blood sugar and promotes weight loss. Daily supplementation with green coffee extract for 60 days was shown to result in an initial weight loss of 5.7% in subjects with a body mass index over 25.

Adults. Take two vegetarian capsules with a large glass (240ml) of water half an hour before lunch and dinner. It is vital that sufficient water is drunk with each dose to avoid problems with swallowing. Do not exceed 8 capsules a day. The two doses must be taken at least 2 hours apart.
