The Pylori Fight + Mastic Gum Pack contains the supplements H. Pylori Fight and Mastic Gum which help protect the gastrointestinal tract.
H. Pylori Fight will decrease the toxic load in the stomach, reducing the risk of developing illnesses related to the digestive system (ulcers, cancer, acid reflux), effects enhanced by Mastic Gum that also protects the gastric mucosa from infections.
The combined properties of H.Pylori Fight and Mastic Gum help inhibit or even eliminate the H. Pylori bacteria, acting as natural remedies with prolonged effects, since reinfection is rare after the bacteria is eradicated.
H. Pylori Fight contains the probiotic Lactobacillus Reuteri, known as the only recognised strain to act as the specific antagonist of Helicobacter Pylori. It constitutes a rare, natural treatment for eliminating Helicobacter pylori infection and neutralising the bacteria.
Mastic Gum is a natural product that has been used since ancient times as an antiseptic remedy for a range of stomach ailments. It can be used to ease stomach aches, help re-form stomach and duodenal epithelium, promote good digestion and freshen the breath.

H. Pylori Fight is a probiotic supplement that improves stomach problems and fights the diseases associated with Helicobacter pylori, now available to buy at Supersmart.
H. pylori is a resilient strain which can be difficult to eliminate. Due to what seems to be increasing resistance, it may respond poorly to antibiotics, the only treatment offered by conventional medicine. It is responsible for most cases of heartburn, gastritis and gastric ulcers, the seriousness of which is well-established.
The good news is that scientists have recently discovered the properties of a bacterial strain called Lactobacillus reuteri, and more specifically the inactivated strain DMS 17648, isolated and patented by the Germany company Organo Balance. This strain has proved very effective at fighting Helicobacter pylori, without the disadvantages of conventional antibiotics. It has the particular feature of coagulating in the stomach by forming co-aggregates with the Helicobacter pylori bacteria, thus decreasing the toxic load in the stomach and reducing the risk of developing gastritis or a gastrointestinal ulcer. It is the only strain among 700 different strains of probiotics to be recognised as the specific antagonist of Helicobacter pylori.
Once coagulation has taken place in the stomach, the resulting aggregate is excreted by the body via the digestive tract. Gut flora therefore remains unaffected, contrary to the effects of a typical three-week course of antibiotics. Furthermore, H. Pylori Fight does not cause diarrhoea or taste disorders, unlike, antibiotics which are not specific treatments for eliminating Helicobacter pylori.
This particular strain offers a three-fold advantage over others:
The properties of Lactobacillus reuteri have been investigated in two clinical studies. In one, a dose of 250mg a day was tested against placebo for a period of two weeks. The other was a blind study (in which participants did not know whether they were taking the probiotic or the placebo), using the same dose. In both cases, researchers observed a significant decrease in the toxic load of Helicobacter pylori in infected subjects.
H. Pylori Fight and its digestion-related benefits, constitutes a rare, natural treatment for eliminating Helicobacter pylori infection. Once eradicated, reinfection is rare. Treatment can therefore be considered definitive but it can be prolonged with the use of other formulations available to buy at Supersmart, such as Digestive Enzymes to facilitate digestion, and the supplement Mastic Gum to protect the gastric mucosa from future infection.
Gut flora, or intestinal microbiota, describes the collection of microorganisms that live in the intestines and stomach. While they play an essential role in the body’s digestion and defences, some of these microorganisms may also be responsible for persistent problems such as the microbial strain Helicobacter pylori.
This bacteria lives exclusively in the human stomach and is the only known bacteria able to survive and grow in such an acid environment. It is thought that 80% of gastro-duodenal ulcers are caused by H. pylori infections, even though in most cases (70-80%), the infection is asymptomatic. Over the long term, however, it induces a range of symptoms such as fatigue and chronic gastric discomfort, as well as chronic inflammation of the stomach and diseases such as stomach cancer – indeed it is believed to be responsible for 60-90% of gastric cancers.
Given these estimates, it is possible that Helicobacter pylori claims more lives each year than road accidents, since stomach cancer is especially deadly. Migraines, Parkinson’s disease, cardiovascular problems and certain immune diseases have also been linked to Helicobacter pylori infection. It is clearly a significant problem given that 25% of Western populations are thought to be infected. Diagnosis of Helicobacter pylori infection includes tests for antigens in stools or antibodies in blood, urea breath tests and endoscopic biopsies if your doctor advises it.

Mastic Gum is a natural antiseptic remedy that inhibits or eliminates H.Pyori, improving gastrointestinal problems. H.pylori infection is associated with gastritis, dyspepsia and peptic ulcers - in fact, it is now recognized as the cause of the latter.
Standard treatment to eliminate H.pylori involves long and extensive multi-therapy with antibiotics and other drugs. The side-effects of this treatment (nausea, diarrhoea and allergies) can be hard to tolerate. What's more, the bacteria mutate and become resistant to the antibiotics. However, there is a natural product which has been used for its benefits since ancient times as an antiseptic and remedy for a range of stomach ailments: mastic gum (pistacia lentiscus), now available to buy at Supersmart.
You might think that no organism living in the human stomach could withstand the combined, brutal chemical assault of hydrochloric acid and digestive enzymes. Yet some exceptionally tough micro-organisms can survive and even multiply in such a hostile environment. Among the most prevalent is the bacteria Helicobacter pylori (h.pylori) which is believed to infect the stomachs of up to 40% of the world's population. As its name suggests, H.pylori is a helicoidal-type bacteria which burrows like a corkscrew in the epithelial cells close to the pylorus. It survives by secreting urease, an alkalinizing enzyme which neutralizes stomach acids.
Mastic gum is a safe, effective and natural nutritional supplement, free from side-effects and delivered in vegetarian capsules. Given how serious H.pylori infection is, mastic gum should be used as a first step, before any other therapy. Once H.pylori has been controlled or eliminated, gastrointestinal function will return to normal by itself and will restore stomach epithelium naturally.
Studies demonstrating the efficacy of mastic gum against H.pylori used doses from one to two grams a day. Even if H.pylori is not suspected, mastic gum can be used to:
