The dietary supplement Super Quercetin has been developed to offer the benefits of the natural flavonol quercetin. Also known as quercetol, this molecule is part of the large family of flavonoids, polyphenols known for their antioxidant potency.
Quercetin is found in many plant-based foods such as elderberries, blueberries, red onions, tea and broccoli. It has also been identified in the pods and seeds of a tree native to Brazil called Dimorphandra mollis. Indeed, this is the natural source from which our supplement Super Quercetin is formulated.
The many protective benefits of quercetin are now available in nutritional supplement form. The quercetin used in our high quality product is obtained from a natural source, awarded ‘Generally Recognized As Safe' (GRAS) status by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). It is extracted and purified using an exclusive proprietary process which ensures it is free from contaminants.
Each capsule contains an optimal 500mg of quercetin, with a suggested dose of one to two capsules a day, although this can be adjusted in line with your needs and the advice of your therapist. The effects of quercetin can also be boosted by combining it with other antioxidants including vitamin C or other anti-inflammatories such as bromelain. Anyone receiving immune-suppressant therapy should seek medical advice before taking quercetin as it can interfere with certain drugs such as cyclosporin.
