Benefits and composition of the best dietary supplement for joints
Joint discomfort and osteoarthritis: a quick reminder
Joint pain can appear at any time, often as a result of age, a sedentary lifestyle, excess weight or excessive physical activity.
These factors can weaken the cartilage, the connective tissue that covers the ends of the bones and absorbs the pressure on the joints.
The gradual wear and tear of cartilage, aggravated by its poor capacity for regeneration, often leads to discomfort and even encourages osteoarthritis, a chronic deterioration of the joints.
Benefits of our exceptional formula, rich in collagen, PEA, vitamin C and astaxanthin
Arthro Fast Relief food supplement brings together the most effective natural substances to support joint health and comfort over time.
Its 6 synergistic ingredients provide a 2-in-1 action to promote mobility.
To begin with, it contains 3 ingredients dedicated to rapid relief:
-
Ferzinger®: this innovative extract of fermented ginger rhizome is standardised to contain over 1.5% 6-paradol, a compound which is even more stable, 4 times more bioavailable and more effective than the shogaols and gingerols found in ordinary dried ginger. Ginger is a rebalancing condiment that helps maintain mobility and, in particular, prevents morning stiffness. Its bioactive compounds act by inhibiting the production of pro-inflammatory cytokines and enzymes such as COX-2, which are involved in the inflammatory process (1).
-
Levagen®+: Levagen®+ is a patented form of palmitoylethanolamide (PEA) coated using LipiSperse® technology, which improves its functionality and bioavailability. PEA is a regulating and soothing agent naturally present in the body. It reduces joint inflammation by inhibiting the release of pro-inflammatory cytokines and modulating mast cell activity, and enhances natural pain relief mechanisms by influencing cannabinoid receptors. Two randomised double-blind clinical trials have demonstrated the efficacy of Levagen®+ in subjects suffering from joint discomfort and osteoarthritis of the knee, with relief as early as day 3 (2-4).
-
Astaxanthin: this natural carotenoid is extracted from certain species of shellfish, fish and algae (in the case of our product, from the algae Haematococcus pluvialis). Astaxanthin's powerful antioxidant and potential calming properties have led to it being widely studied in the field of joint health. Astaxanthin is thought to be capable of reducing oxidative stress by neutralising free radicals and inhibiting the production of pro-inflammatory cytokines, molecules involved in the inflammatory process (5-8).
It also contains 3 other ingredients linked to long-term cartilage regeneration:
-
Collavant® n2: this patented compound is a native (undenatured) type 2 collagen, the main structural protein in cartilage, which gives it its resistance and strength. Certain joint disorders involving inflammation and cartilage degradation are caused by an immune response against the body's endogenous type 2 collagen. Taken orally in its native form, a low dose of type 2 collagen may help modulate this immune response through a mechanism of action known as oral tolerance, which consists of a reduction in the immune response to a previously administered antigen. The effects of Collavant® n2 have been confirmed by clinical studies: one, carried out on individuals suffering from joint discomfort after exercise, found that supplementation with 40 mg/day of Collavant® n2 reduced the intensity of their pain in less than 2 months (we have reproduced the same dosage in Arthro Fast Relief) (9).
-
Methylsulphonylmethane (MSM): this organosulphur compound provides you with an excellent quantity of bioavailable sulphur. Sulphur is essential for the formation of collagen and proteoglycans, both of which are vital for the maintenance and regeneration of cartilage. It also plays an essential role in collagen cross-linking, a process that gives cartilage its strength and elasticity (10).
-
Vitamin C: this well-known water-soluble vitamin, also known as ascorbic acid, contributes to the normal formation of collagen, the main structural protein in cartilage. Vitamin C enables the hydroxylation of proline and lysine, a process that stabilises and strengthens the collagen molecule. It also offers protection against oxidative stress, a factor that can damage cartilage and accelerate the degradation of joint tissue (11).
5 key strengths of Arthro Fast Relief joint supplement
Our pro-joint dietary supplement boasts 5 key strengths:
-
The most effective synergy on the market: thanks to its comprehensive composition, Arthro Fast Relief lets you benefit from an unprecedented combination of the most effective natural ingredients available in the field.
-
A dual action on joints: the supplement is designed to soothe joints as quickly as possible, while supporting their long-term preservation and regeneration.
-
Two main patented, clinically-studied ingredients: we use 2 patented, high-added-value ingredients, Collavant® n2 and Levagen®+, whose virtues have been validated by human clinical studies. Note that, unlike hydrolysed type 1 collagen, which is only effective in doses of over 5g, a small dose of type 2 collagen in its native form is enough to act effectively on cartilage.
-
An innovative plant extract: rather than an ordinary ginger extract, we have opted for the avant-garde Ferzinger® fermented ginger extract, standardised in 6-paradol, a powerful derivative of gingerols (4 times better absorbed than 6-shogaol).
-
Vegetarian capsules: the supplement comes in hypromellose (HPMC) vegetarian capsules, with acacia gum, magnesium carbonate and coconut powder as the only excipients.
